Juliet provides a gentle non-surgical treatment resulting in minimal downtime and a quick recovery. The laser is designed to deliver gentle laser energy into the vaginal wall to stimulate collagen synthesis, remodel tissue, and restore flexibility and shape.
During the treatment a probe is inserted into the vagina in a series of two unique passes. The first pass stimulates the production of collagen and strengthens the structure of the tissue. The second pass revitalizes the tissue through gentle heating, improving blood flow to the area, and encouraging a healing response.
Some patients see the beneficial effects after the first treatment, however results continue to improve for several months after the treatment series is completed. In some cases, it may take up to twelve weeks to see optimal results.

Treatments : a series of three treatments are recommended for optimal results. Treatments are administered four weeks apart. A once-a-year single follow-up treatment is recommended to maintain the benefits of the procedure.
A topical numbing cream will be applied externally by our trained staff about thirty minutes before the procedure. This is designed to minimize any discomfort.
A cold gel compress will be applied on the external area after the procedure is complete
A protective eye shield will be provided to you during your treatment. A snapping sound can be heard while the laser is being used; bringing headphones is encouraged.

BEFORE: Hair should be cleanly shaven on the day of treatment. It is acceptable to wax. Stop using vaginal creams and lubricants about 2-3 days before your treatment. Do not use any self-tanners and avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to your treatment. Avoid treatments that may irritate your skin 1-2 weeks prior to treatment (ie. chemical peels, harsh chemicals, etc.). If you have a history of herpes or cold sores, you will need an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.
AFTER: You may experience minor pain/discomfort post-treatment. We recommend over the counter pain medication or a cool compress. Refrain from intercourse for at least 72 hours post-treatment. Pink discharge or spotting may be present for 3-4 days post-treatment. Wash the area with a non-irritating cleanser. You also need to apply a healing ointment (such as Aquaphor) until treated area has healed. Redness and swelling may occur and will resolve over time. Avoid sun exposure to the area treated. If you had your external vagina has treated, skin will be sensitive. Don’t shave or wax for a few days. You can apply 100% Aloe Vera to the outer vulva for comfort.
